Cannon Confidential, a UK leader in confidential waste destruction, was recently honoured at the Royal Mail Supplier Awards with Gold Awards for outstanding performance and customer service. It was also one of just three suppliers to collect the companies' Environmental Award.

The Royal Mail awards ceremony is an annual event which gives recognition to high standards of supplier service. The Gold Award for 'Outstanding performance to Royal Mail Group' has been achieved by the Cannon Confidential team over nine consecutive quarters. In the last two quarters, the team received a performance score of 99%. No other supplier to Royal Mail has ever achieved such a consistently high level of service. The Gold Award for 'Customer Service', is a new standard with only one award available for FM companies.

In 2007, the company shredded and recycled 5,371 tonnes of confidential material on behalf of Royal Mail – or the equivalent of 90 thousand trees.
