A Cannon Horticulture team has won a prestigious 'Service Delivery Award' for their work at the Defence Storage and Distribution Agency (DSDA) in Gosport.
DSDA Gosport is a 500 acre defence munitions site, crucial to the storing and maintenance of munitions for the UK's armed forces and also home for a vast array of flora and forna in an outstanding natural shoreline habitat. Cannon Horticulture's 11-strong team has cared for the site since 2004.
The team at DSDA Gosport received the award from the Partners in the South West Regional Prime Contract Debut Services. Babcock Ltd, one of the two partners in the Debut Venture has instigated an awards scheme for Business Performance and the Cannon team won on the basis of their outstanding achievements in service delivery.
Ray Rushworth, managing director of Cannon Horticulture said, "This is a great accolade. To be recognised by a key customer in this way is particularly rewarding. Our success is built on going the extra mile and I congratulate the team for their outstanding effort." |
